While many families will be celebrating Thanksgiving with turkey and stuffing this weekend, some will be closing their cottages up for the winter.
OPP Sergeant Jason Folz says locking up is important if the property won’t be supervised.
He adds that if you can, check up on the property over the winter to make sure everything is in proper order.
