The Township of Whitewater Region is getting out of the concert promotion business.
Chief Administrative Officer Robert Tremblay says the three-year old initiative known as Streetstrut broke the bank in 2019.
The CAO says he doesn’t think a decision to book Rock acts rather than Country stars was a factor.
Tremblay says the operating shortfall for Streetstrut will be covered from other areas of Township revenue.
