Plans are in the works for the second annual Dinner En Blanc event. Organizers of the fundraiser are launching the second edition for 2020 and looking for eligible registered charities to submit letters of intent. To qualify you must be a registered charitable organization with programs in Renfrew County that support health and wellness, children, youth and families, or arts culture and heritage. All interested applicants are asked to include the name of their organization and briefly describe (in under 100 words) one or two of the projects that will be funded through the event. The deadline to submit an application is October 10th at 5:00pm. Only the chosen recipient will be contacted after the selection process. At the Dinner En Blanc event this year, over $66,000 was raised for the Child Poverty Action Network in Renfrew County and a woman from Renfrew won herself a brand new Toyota CH-R. Pembroke Hyundai has been picked as the dealer to raffle off a vehicle for the event in 2020. All applications should be submitted by email to : dinnerenblancov@gmail.com
