One hundred new trees for Renfrew’s Ma-Te-Way Park. Sunday is TD Tree Days and Organizer Susan Richter says they’re looking for volunteers to help plant a few saplings. She adds it’s part of TD bank’s Ready Commitment.
Richter says they always use trees and shrubs that are native to the area. If you’re interested in helping out, you’re asked to bring a shovel and meet at the pavilion by the splashpad at 9am. She adds there will be some t-shirts and treats to give away.
