Four area teens are facing charges following an investigation into vandalism earlier in the summer. Renfrew OPP were called to the Oaks of Cobden on August 4th after staff found thousands of dollars worth of damage done to the golf course and to several golf carts. Police arrested and charged a 17 and 18 year old from Whitewater Region as well as a 17 and 18 year old from Bonnechere Valley Township with mischief over $5000. All four young men were released on a promise to appear and their names were not released. Police are still collecting details on the case and anyone with information is asked to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
