The Whitewater Kings beat the Renfrew Timberwolves last night with a final score of 4-1. Renfrew was outshot 34-23 on home ice and fell to 1 and 2 on the pre-season with the loss. Nolan McGregor scored the only goal for the Timberwolves. Renfrew will have a shot at redemption on home ice when the two teams meet next Friday for the season opener.
The Arnprior Packers have wrapped up their pre-season play and get the regular season started on Thursday at 7:20pm when they play on the road against Ottawa West.
