Organizers are getting ready for the Pontiac’s Terry Fox Run on Sunday September 15. The event is in its 38th year, and Organizer John Petty says you can walk, run, bike, roller blade or push a stroller – he just wants you to turn out.
Petty and Rick Valin were on the original organizing committee from 1981, the first event in the Pontiac. Registration is at 1pm at Pontiac High School in Shawville, with the 10km walk/run event starting at 2pm. You can find details on how to register on the Terry Fox Run’s website.
