Residential real estate sales in Renfrew County set a new all-time record for the month of July, totalling 208 units in July 2019. That was up 7.8% from July last year.
The Renfrew County Real Estate Board says 2019 remains on track to being a record year for home sales, with 1222 units sold over the first seven months this year.
The average price of homes sold in July 2019 was $257,488, up 2.5% from July 2018.
New listings and housing supply are both down.
Overall supply has reached a decade low, dropping 27.6% from the end of July 2018.
The dollar value of all home sales in July 2019 was $53.6 million, rising 10.4% from the same month in 2018. This was a new record for the month of July.
