Three local residents are in hot water following three separate incidents last week (Aug 13, 17). Renfrew OPP handed out several impaired driving charges, including to a 30 year old Arnprior man who was stopped following a traffic complaint in Horton on August 13. A few days later, officers followed up on another public tip in Greater Madawaska, resulting in the arrest and charges laid against a 31 year old Greater Madawaska woman on August 17. That same day, an investigation during a traffic enforcement, also in Greater Madawaska Township, saw a 21 year old Arnprior man charged. In addition to the driving over 80mg charge, the young driver was also slapped with a summons for racing at excessive speed. All three will appear in court in September.
