People continue to drive under the influence, that’s according to the Renfrew OPP who recently charged two different drivers in separate incidents. According to police, they pulled over a Greater Madawaska man in Admaston Bromley Township August 5. Following their investigation, the 51 year old was charged with impaired driving, operating a vehicle with over 80 mg of alcohol and possession of cocaine. He was released on a promise to appear in court on August 21. Meanwhile, on August 10, police responded to a traffic complaint in Arnprior, a 37 year old Ottawa woman has been charged with impaired driving and operation of a vehicle with over 80 mg of alcohol. She’s expected to return to court on September 4 and was released on a promise to appear.
