The Westmeath Community Hall is looking forward to new, energy efficient windows in the second floor hall. The Westmeath and District Recreation Association was awarded a 15 000 dollar grant from the Farm Credit Canada AgriSpirit Fund to replace the aging windows that have outlasted their lifespan. Double-section awning will reduce heat loss in the winter and prevent the humidity from creeping in on those hot summer days. In addition, the new windows will improve the look of the hall in general, according to Association President, Brenda O’Grady.
