A well-attended Open House Thursday afternoon in McNab-Braeside took the edge of a proposed By-Law amendment that would raise the defined Flood Plain elevation in the Township, according to Mayor Tom Peckett.

By-law amendments will be common-place to all municipalities along the Ottawa River affected by the 2019 Flooding, McNab-Braeside is just first off the mark to consider one. County Planning Official Bruce Howarth says there’s one chance for the public to speak to the proposed changes.
The formal Planning Meeting Tuesday August 13th at 6PM at the Township Office on Russett Drive.
