There will be an Arnprior Fair this year. It’s relocated to leased property on Airport land off Van Dusen Drive. The event will be held this Friday through Sunday. On the Fair’s Facebook page Fair Board President Brad Runtz confirms a deal is in place after the sale of the former Galvin Street site for development as a subdivision. Organizers looked at out of town locations in McNab-Braeside, but Runtz says for logistics reasons that wasn’t working. The airport location meet the key criteria the Fair Board established, including on-site parking for 200 vehicles.
