Two teenagers on the run from police across Canada may be in Ontario and heading towards Highway 17. The Ontario Provincial Police is investigating reports of two suspicious men believed to be the B.C. murder suspects 18-year-old Bryer Schmegelsky and 19-year-old Kam McLeod. A suspicious vehicle was spotted driving in a construction zone on Highway 11 near Kapuskasing around 10:30am Wednesday morning (July 31st). Kapuskasing is roughly 700km north of Pembroke, however Highway 11 connects to Highway 17 in North Bay. The two men have already traveled across the country and are charged in one murder and suspects in another two. On Wednesday RCMP dialed back the search efforts in northern Manitoba after no leads following a nine day man hunt. Anyone who sees suspicious activity or a suspicious vehicle is urged to call 911 or local police. The OPP have not confirmed that the two men are the wanted individuals, but are currently investigating this incident and actively looking for the white vehicle. The make and model of the vehicle has not been released.
