On Thursday next week, Ruben Marini will be formally acclaimed by the Liberals – to represent Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke
in the fall federal election.
The local Liberal riding association says Marini is the only qualified candidate to have successfully completed the nomination application process.
The meeting takes place at 6pm at Nelson Street Pub in Pembroke.
The federal Liberal Party says its nomination process supports what the party calls “unprecedented new engagement with Canadians” which includes
the “election of talented, diverse, and hardworking community leaders as Liberal MPs.”
