Provincial police are crediting two teen girls who went missing
in Algonquin Park for staying put once they realized they were lost.
The 16-year-olds got lost after accidentally leaving the trail
where they were hiking, and police say they did the right thing by
not trying to find their way back.
Spokesman Bill Dickson says the girls rationed what little food
and water they had with them for the three days they were lost.
The Kitchener teens were reunited with their families yesterday
after more than 100 people spent the weekend searching for them.
