The bar at the Horton Community Centre is getting a bit of a make-over. Council and the Recreation committee has approved work to be done, at a cost of nearly $15 000. Initially, the matter came to the Public Works committee, but Mayor Dave Bennett said even though the building is under Public Works, the money comes from the Recreation budget and should be their decision. It’s not known as of yet when the work will begin, but the tender has been awarded and is allocated in the 2019 budget.
