A local automotive company has donated $5,000 to the Cutting Edge Campaign at the Pembroke Regional Hospital. Executive Director of the Hospital Foundation, Nancy Warren, says they are so grateful to have local businesses like NAPA Auto Parts who are dedicated to help make an impact on the health care for families in Renfrew County. The co-owners of NAPA Auto in Pembroke, Norm Carriere and Jim Pilon, have put out a challenge to all other auto parts business in the area to make a donation to support local health care at the regional hospital. The owners say family, friends and customers live here so it’s important to give back to the community. The Pembroke Regional Hospital Cutting Edge campaign supports orthopedic programs and upgrades to the in-patient surgical floor and has a fundraising goal of $2.5-million.
