The 5th annual Upper Ottawa River Race and Paddle Festival is coming up fast. Registration is now open for the festival run by a partnership between the City of Pembroke and Town of Petawawa. The weekend is booked for August 9th to 11th on the Ottawa River, and Heather Sutherland, Tourism and Communications Officer for Pembroke, says there is a new added feature this year.
