Two Lanark County Hospitals have been accredited with Exemplery Standing by Accreditation Canada.
The Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital and the Almonte General Hospital share accolades.
The hospitals are part of the Mississippi River Health Alliance, and as such are committed to share best practises with one another.
The Accreditation Canada process is a voluntary exercise that reviews a health care organization’s care and services.
There’s a self-assessment component, a survey visit that includes extensive interviews with stakeholders and
a comprehensive survey report.
The surveys took place from May 27 to 31, 2019.
