A restaurant in west end Pembroke was quite the scene yesterday as several parked vehicles were struck when an 87-year-old driver suffered a medical issue. The woman was in the parking lot when she collided with four unoccupied parked cars and a sign post before coming to rest on the lawn of the business. She was taken to hospital for assessment but otherwise was not injured. Her driver’s license will be subject to a medical review and police say that charges are not anticipated.
