For the fifth year, the sound of blues will be echoing up the mountain at Calabogie Peaks Resort in August. The Calabogie Blues and Ribfest takes place August 14 to 16.

VEHICLE DAMAGED ON CARSON LAKE

OPP are on the hunt for those responsible for causing damage to a machine in Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan Township. According to police, sometime in the last two weeks someone caused damage to a front end loader that was parked at a sand and gravel pit on Carson Lake.

Never deposit live fish into any body of water other than the one it came from. A message from the OPP as summer is now in full swing. A special license is required from the MNR to transfer live fish or live spawn from one body of water to another.

Technology foiled a break and enter in Litchfield recently. A man in Manitoba who owns a cottage at Lake Lawless saw someone break into his Quebec property via an internet based alarm system and cameras.

PARC MEMBERS MARCH FOR CLIMATE CHANGE IN EGANVILLE

While a large Climate March is taking place in Toronto tomorrow (july.4), a similar march took place in Eganville earlier this afternoon. The march was put on by the Pipeline Awareness Renfrew County group, who are concerned about the TransCanada Energy East Pipeline.
