MAN CHARGED AFTER STABBING IN PETAWAWA

Police have released more information on a violent incident last night in Petawawa. Upper Ottawa Valley OPP say a man was stabbed around 7:30 last night (Tuesday) in the area of Laroche Crescent and Herman Street in Petawawa.

LABOUR DEAL AVERTS STRIKE IN BONNECHERE VALLEY

There won't be a lockout in Bonnechere Valley. The township and CUPE Local 4524, which represents nine roads and seven waste employees, have reached an agreement. Bonnechere Valley Mayor, Jennifer Murphy, says it's a multi year deal with an annual wage increase.

WHITEWATER TOWN HALL CLOSED THURSDAY

The doors of the Whitewater Region municipal building will be closed tomorrow (Mar23) for staff training. It will be a one day training session so everything will be back to normal on Friday, so the doors will be open from 8:30am to 4pm like usual.
